We're so excited to have you become part of the litter, herd, flock, colony, camp, sleuth, swarm, wake, chain, quiver, pack or whatever group of animals you belong to. ;)
It's our intention to keep you informed of all pertinent information about the Finney County Humane Society via email and social media. We'll do our best to make sure you're notified of any and all events and activities we have planned as they fall on our calendar.
We also ask that you forward our emails to a friend or business associate when you receive them. We're always in need of volunteers and would like to ensure everyone in our community has the opportunity to help.
Bark at you again soon!

Not only do we help our furry friends, we also strive to help our community the best we can. Owning a pet is not always the cheapest, so we offer the help that we see is not always the most affordable but very necessary. See below for more of the services that we provide for our community.
Aside from lowering the number of animals roaming our streets, spaying and neutering pets commonly leads to less aggressive behaviors, decreased disease transmission, increased longevity and easier pet training. If you live in Finney County, we may be able to help with the expense. We are currently not offering any low cost spay/neuter clinics but we are hoping to bring them back later this year! For now, we are able to help Finney Co residents with vouchers for a discount on their pet's surgery.
Vaccines provide your pet dog with protection against many dangerous diseases. Unvaccinated dogs that roam around town and mix with other animals, or that spend time in boarding facilities, are extremely vulnerable and at risk for a number of deadly illnesses.
Fortunately, the Finney County Humane Society is a place where you can find low cost pet vaccinations if you're on a budget.

PetLink is a leader in pet identification and reunification aiming to create a lifelong link between people and pets. PetLink identification products alert everyone at a glance that your pet has a microchip and has online resources to help get your pet safely back to you. This is NOT a tracking or GPS device, but another form of ID. We offer these down here at the Shelter on a walk in basis.
At FCHS, we understand the emotion and heartache losing a fur-member can cause. We perform private cremations for owners that would like to have their pet back home with them forever. All private cremations are done with the up-most care and respect for the animals and come with a velvet sack to keep your pet's remains. Urns may be purchased at an additonal cost. If you would like more information, please give us a call or send an email with your information.
Our newsletter, Paw-Parrazi, is a monthly email communication piece sent out to members, donors and interested supporters. It has feature stories about shelter happenings, pet care tips, upcoming events, monthly statistics and more. Complete the form and subscribe today!
